KaiThai Private Chef offers an exotic culinary experience direct from South East Asia and into your own home or office. KaiThai caters for private and business functions – office parties, Directors lunches, dinner parties, bbq’s, weddings, parties and many other kinds of events.
Kai can also teach Thai cooking courses in your home – arrange a private day with a group of friends and learn the skills required to make Thai food. Many of the dishes are not available in Thai restaurants and bring an authentic taste of Thai cuisine to our customers. Combining the flavours, colours and aromas of Thai food with excellent presentation skills and an eye for detail are the trademarks of head chef Kai.
The menu shown on the site is a partial list of dishes that can be prepared and served. We will assist to develop the menu that is right for you. KaiThai is well placed to provide an event that will be remembered for years to come - for all the right reasons. Based in Finchley, North London KaiThai will travel to any location within one hours drive (60 miles or so) which therefore includes Greater London and the majority of the home counties of Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent, Surrey and Sussex.
Kai makes her own curry pastes using fresh ingredients sourced from specialist Asian shops. This allows for those with particular religious beliefs or with allergies to certain products to have the offending ingredients removed from the recipe. Ingredients such as shrimp paste or mushrooms can be substituted for other similar tasting products.
Kai was born in Thailand and has been working in the UK since 2001 for a number of leading contract caterers at prestigious sites and events. Kai is fluent in English, Thai and Italian and as a working chef has been awarded all appropriate health and hygiene certificates. She is also an excellent hostess that will bring a bubbly and positive energy to your event.
